This is my 3rd month in Estonia. During my stay here, I started to observe the changes in myself more. Now I can talk to people more boldly and freely. Of course, it’s not limited to just that. I have had various friends. We held a meeting in Parnu with other ANK volunteers in the first week of December. We held a small workshop and city tour with other volunteers from Egypt, Lebanon, Georgia, Ukraine, and Brazil. We shared funny stories and experiences we had in Estonia with other volunteers. Also, walking on the frozen sea was our first experience for all of us 🙂

As the excitement of Christmas approached, we had dinner together as the Youth Center employees gave each other gifts and made various presentations to each other :)) I chose to dance because I thought I was very professional in dancing.

As Christmas was approaching, I had the opportunity to travel to southern Estonia with my mentor Uku. We visited the last stronghold on the pilgrimage of Christians. As always, I started something from the end ‘:D But it is impossible not to be impressed by the natural and historical beauty of Southern Estonia.

After getting over the Christmas excitement, I had my first experience of gliding at the ski resort in Moniste with Katrin and the young people in the region. I can say that it was the fastest activity I’ve experienced since the day I came here 🙂 I can admit that I was surprised at first that everything here was calm and slow since things were a little panicked and moving fast in Turkey.

We celebrated the New Year with my mentor Uku and his friends. It was a very nice and different experience. New friends, new stories, new future plans… 🙂

This month and even the year I learned the following; “Every small positive change we make in ourselves pays off with confidence in the future. ” 🙂
